SUMMARY:Concord - Civics Academy 2018
DESCRIPTION:Concord Civics Academy is a six-part educational series for Concord residents who want to learn more about how their government works\, and how to get involved in the community. \nThe series is sponsored by the City of Concord\, American Friends Service Committee\, Change for Concord and the Welcoming Concord Initiative. \nThe first session will take place at City Council Chambers\, and there will be a variety of other meeting places as the course progresses.\nEach evening starts with a light supper at 6:00 pm; the program concludes at 9 pm. \nSession dates are March 6\, 13\, 20 and 27\, and April 3 and 10. There is a prize for those who complete all six sessions. \nThe program is free and open to all Concord residents\, 18 years of age and older.
