SUMMARY:Exeter - Culturally Effective Organizations
DESCRIPTION:In NH we value that everyone lives freely\, but that means ensuring everyone has equal opportunity to thrive. We know that organizations strive to ensure this opportunity by providing high quality services that are accessible to all in NH – yet achieving this can be challenging. Many of us have simply not had access to training about an effective approach that would turn our goals into broader success. \nThe good news is that a roadmap exists; there is a framework to provide high quality services for all called the Culturally Effective Organizations Framework. Integrated Delivery Networks\, Southern NH AHEC and other members of the NH Health & Equity Partnership will be hosting learning forums to teach organizations about the essential pathways for success. \nThis program is offered at no cost to participants. \nTarget Audience: This Learning Forum is especially suited to individuals (organization leaders\, senior staff or decision-makers) able to effect change within their organization. We recommend that organizations be represented by teams of 2-3 individuals who can take the information back to their leadership team. \nLearning Objectives \nBy the end of this learning forum participants will be able to: \n\nDescribe the Culturally Effective Organizations Framework and the 7 elements\nReflect on how to apply this Framework to their own organization\nDemonstrate how to use the Culturally Effective Organizations Framework Online Toolkit\nImplement a high level assessment of the Framework elements within their own organization\n\nContinuing Education: \nCertificates of participation will be available for non-health professionals. \nNurses \nSouthern NH AHEC is an Approved Provider of continuing nursing education by the Northeast Multistate Division (NE-MSD)\, an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. \n3.00 contact hours.
