SUMMARY:Exeter - Stigma Across Cultures\, a Cultural Effectiveness Training
DESCRIPTION:Cultural Effectiveness Training for all members of the Healthcare Team \nMany people in need of Mental Health or Substance Use services do not access services. This session will look at language\, attitudes\, and behaviors that clients encounter and community messaging about MH and SUD. What does culture have to do with not accessing services? What is a micro-aggression? What does “Othering” mean?
