SUMMARY:Manchester - Town Hall Immigration and Integration: What is Our Capacity?
DESCRIPTION:As part of our (Currier Museum of Art’s) special exhibition We Are For Freedoms\, join us for a town hall exploring immigration and migration and the capacity of a community to effectively welcome and support new citizens. This free event will provide a platform for a facilitated conversation that seeks to encourage a more active\, collaborative\, and inclusive community. A diverse group of speakers will share their stories and then invite all to participate in the conversation. This talk will have a special performance by Deo Mwano and will be moderated by Max Latona\, Associate Professor of Philosophy\, Saint Anselm College. Galleries open until 9 pm so be sure to stay after the event to enjoy We Are For Freedoms\, and a full menu and cash bar in our Winter Garden Cafe. \nFREE but seats are limited \nRegister hereThis is the first in a series of four town hall discussions associated with the exhibition We Are For Freedoms.
