DESCRIPTION:The Health Committee of the Manchester Branch of the NAACP will be hosting a virtual workshop titled “Death By a Thousand Nicks: The Impact of Race-Based Traumatic Stress and Steps for Healing” on June 15th from 12 pm – 1 pm EST\, led by Nicole Sublette\, licensed mental health counselor and anti-racist educator.\n\nDuring this workshop\, we will explore the concept of “Death by a Thousand Nicks” – the cumulative impact of everyday racism on health and well-being.\n\nOur speaker\, Nicole Sublette will provide insights on identifying race-based trauma\, breaking free from self-doubt and reclaiming the right to thrive in a world that often seeks to dim your light.\n\nWe believe that our workshop aligns with your organization’s values and goals\, and we would love to partner with you to reach a broader audience and make a meaningful impact.
