DESCRIPTION:What is anti-Semitism\, how does it work\, and how is it fighting it connected to other movements for justice?\n \n\nJenni Walkup\, anthropologist and organizer\, will share her story of growing up Jewish in New Hampshire\, and the anti-Semitism that she experienced. She’ll talk about what it means to understand Jewish marginalization as not that bad\, and how she came to understand the deep connections between anti-Semitic\, anti-Black and anti-poor ideologies. \n\nUsing those stories as a jumping-off point\, we’ll walk through the history of anti-Semitism and begin to understand how it manages to re-emerge seemingly out of nowhere. All are invited to join us for this guided discussion.\nAbout NHPA’s Peace & Justice Conversation Series: COVID 19 has brought us to a new moment of reckoning and possibility. How do we want to live in the world? What do we value? How can we make the changes we’ve been yearning for? NH Peace Action has been engaged in working for change for decades. We’d like to take this moment to bring you into some conversations about issues and options for the future.
