The topic of Reparations has gained sharpened attention as a result of the racial tensions and nation-wide demonstrations throughout much of 2020.
Reparations as a response to centuries of racial injustice will be the focus of a presentation by Woullard Lett, a member of the National Coalition Of Blacks For Reparations In America ( N’COBRA) and an activist in the NAACP, in Manchester on January 11 at 6:30pm – 8pm.
The rational for reparations, and forms reparations can take, as well as a review of perceptions and misconceptions about reparations will be highlighted. Current legislation, H.R. 40, will be summarized.
