Manchester School Board meeting for African History Class
August 22, 2023 @ 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Young Organizers United (YOU) is asking us to support their drive to get an African American History class added to the Manchester High School Curriculum. Please join the members of YOU next Tuesday, August 22nd at 6 pm at City Hall for a meeting of the Teaching and Learning Committee of the Manchester School Board.
YOU leaders had been promised this class would be offered at one High School this fall, but now the School Board seems to be backing away from this promise. Please come and show your support for the teaching of accurate and inclusive history!!
All are welcome to come and testify during public comment at 6 pm or simply come and listen and support our young leaders from YOU.
