Regional Listening and Action Planning Sessions to Shape NH’s Digital Equity Plan
September 6, 2023 @ 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Baker Free Library
509 South Street
Bow, NH 03304 United States
Please attend in-person one of four informal listening/planning sessions around the state, our aim is to learn of participants’ most pressing digital divide needs.
These are meant especially for those who prefer brainstorming in-person or who are unable to share their digital-divide insights and concerns via online methods. Folks can register (free!) in person or online via the links on the www.NHdigitalequity.org website. Coffee and other essential refreshments will be provided.
The success of New Hampshire’s planning effort – i.e., unleashing up to $5 million/year to implement NH’s plan starting in 2024 depends on sufficient representation of those who are often most underserved and overlooked. We hope you and those you serve will join us in helping to shape NH’s Digital Future.
Among those we hope can join us:
- Library patrons
- Recipients of public benefits and those who serve them
- Veterans
- Persons of color
- Those who live in and provide services in our rural communities
- Seniors
- Immigrants and refugees
- Those receiving public benefits and those on pathways leading to living-wage employment
- Those with disabilities
- Those who have been incarcerated
- English Learners…
