FreeU.S. Immigration History Timeline Exhibit
Learn about U.S. Immigration Policies from the 1790s to the 2020s in an exhibit of 25 panels that include historic images and a creative space for visitor’s reflections. The exhibit will be on view until Sept. 2, 2024, with an Opening Reception and Guest Speakers who will share their immigration stories and information on current New Hampshire immigration policies on April 5, 6pm, at the Community Church of Durham.
This exhibit was created by Kristin Forselius, along with her co-collaborators, Kathy Collins and Cheryl Savage of Oyster River Equity and Justice, artist Sarah Haskell, the 2022 NH Borderlinks Youth Delegations, and Dr. Madeline Hsu, University of Maryland. It was made possible with funding and support from the Endowment for Health and the Community Church of Durham.
