Concord – Multicultural Crafts and Activities

Join us to learn about other cultures and make some crafts! We have maracas, henna hands, papel picado and more! Drop in, or stay the whole time!
We will have a special guest this month: Sindy Chown is from Barranquilla, Colombia and will be sharing stories and information about her culture while we make maracas and other Latin-American crafts. She will also share her delicious coconut rice recipe – and may even have some for you to try!
We suggest an “Attendance by Donation” of $5-10 for those who can to benefit Creating CommUNITY as we grow. But this is a blind donation and whatever amount you are comfortable with is always appropriate. We welcome everyone, and payment is not a prerequisite for attendance.
