“Death By a Thousand Nicks: The Impact of Race-Based Traumatic Stress and Steps for Healing”
June 15 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
The Health Committee of the Manchester Branch of the NAACP will be hosting a virtual workshop titled “Death By a Thousand Nicks: The Impact of Race-Based Traumatic Stress and Steps for Healing” on June 15th from 12 pm – 1 pm EST, led by Nicole Sublette, licensed mental health counselor and anti-racist educator.
During this workshop, we will explore the concept of “Death by a Thousand Nicks” – the cumulative impact of everyday racism on health and well-being.
Our speaker, Nicole Sublette will provide insights on identifying race-based trauma, breaking free from self-doubt and reclaiming the right to thrive in a world that often seeks to dim your light.
We believe that our workshop aligns with your organization’s values and goals, and we would love to partner with you to reach a broader audience and make a meaningful impact. By collaborating with us, you can help raise awareness about the importance of addressing race-based trauma and promoting mental well-being within our communities and workplaces.
By collaborating with us, you can help provide:
- More spaces for important conversations on racial equity and mental health within your community.
- Valuable resources and tools for addressing race-based trauma and promoting mental well-being.
