Dover – U.S. Citizenship Classes

FreeU. S. Citizenship Class 2019
Learn about US government, history, and geography and the steps required to become a US citizen. Get help filling out the US Citizenship Application.
The curriculum for this class is based on the US Citizenship application and test questions, but the course is appropriate for any intermediate or advanced ESL student regardless of citizenship status or plans. This is a chance to work on your English skills and vocabulary through focused readings, class discussions, and small group activities. Final two classes include a video on what makes for a successful citizenship interview and a chance to do a live, simulated interview.
Who: Intermediate or advanced ESL students
When: Wednesdays, March 6 – May 15, 2019. Afternoon classes 12:30-2:30 PM or Evening classes 6:00-8:00 PM
Cost: Free, thanks to a grant from the NH Bureau of Adult Education!
