Volunteer Day at Fresh Start Farms
Celebrate Welcoming Week 2017 by volunteering and helping the immigrant and refugee farmers of Fresh Start Farms with harvesting, weeding, and other needs during the September volunteer day. Volunteer time is from 10am – 1pm. Come for a portion or stay for the whole thing. Put on your farm clothes, bring a water bottle, and get ready to work and have fun!
Fresh Start Farms is a local food aggregate consisting of immigrant and refugee farmers from the greater Manchester area. The farmers produce CSA shares and sell at local farm stands throughout Manchester.
Directions: From Route 13, turn onto Story Hill Road. Take the first right on Story Hill Road and park in the right hand parking area.
