This Conversation Café will be in both Spanish and English!

This will be a great opportunity for community members who speak either Spanish or English fluently and want to practice the other language. Or maybe you’re fluent in both and want to connect with other bilingual neighbors!

The idea for this event came about when two people (one native English speaker wanting to practice her Spanish, and one native Spanish speaker wanting to practice his English) met at one of Welcoming Manchester’s regular Conversation Cafes and realized a great opportunity. Since then, they have been meeting as friends for regular Spanish-English language exchange, or intercambio, and now they want to bring this exchange to the wider Spanish & English speaking community.

¡Este será un Café de Conversación en español e inglés!

Esta será una gran oportunidad para los miembros de la comunidad que hablan español o inglés con fluidez y desean practicar el otro idioma. ¡O tal vez dominas ambos y quieres conectarte con otros vecinos bilingües!

La idea de este evento surgió cuando dos personas (un hablante nativo de español que quería practicar su inglés y un hablante nativo de inglés que quería practicar su español) se encontraron en uno de los cafés de conversación habituales de Welcoming Manchester y se dieron cuenta de una gran oportunidad. Desde entonces, se han estado reuniendo como amigos para el intercambio regular de idioma español-inglés, y ahora quieren llevar este intercambio al resto de la comunidad de habla hispana e inglesa de Manchester.
